Last Choir Standing has now finished. Here's a brief run-down of choirs that finished in the top four, which I thought were the strongest:
Fourth place: ACM Gospel Choir
This is the Academy of Contemporary Music's gospel choir - one of my favourites in the competition for their sheer bounciness as well as the tightness of their harmonies. Watch for the breakdown at 1:37. The video above is their semi-final performance of Jackie Wilson's "(Your Love Keeps Lifting Me) Higher and Higher".
Third place: Revelation
Revelation is a gospel choir from East London. Their soloist squeaks a bit too much, but their harmonies are quite strong. This is their version of Take That's "Rule The World", but look up "Ain't No Stopping Us Now" if you can find it.
Second place: Ysgol Glanaethwy
The best in the competition, in my opinion, with ACM Gospel Choir a close second. I'm quite shocked that a bunch of Welsh high-schoolers are this versatile - in contrast to their version of "Bohemian Rhapsody" in my previous post (which should now be fixed for those of you who couldn't watch it before), the video above is their rendition of "O Fortuna" from Carmina Burana. The blonde in the front row is particularly terrifying.
First place: Only Men Aloud!
A bit too theatrical for my taste, Only Men Aloud! are an all-singing, all-dancing Welsh men's chorus. This is their version of "Luck Be A Lady". Recommended for fans of musicals.
Four videos. Four different styles. What do you think?

Only Men Alud! rule. Deserved winners. So versitile and such a talented group of people who at any moment could step out as a soloist. Bravo boys, Bravo!
But to never have been in the bottom two? With ACM and Ysgol Glanaethwy in the running?
